educast.nrw is a cooperation project funded by the Digitale Hochschule NRW (DH.NRW). The goal of educast.nrw is to establish a state wide service for processing, managing and distributing videos for use within higher education.

1 - Goals

The goal of educast.nrw is to establish a state wide service for processing, managing and distributing videos for use within higher education. Beside the consortium institutions, additional higher education institutions will be able to join the project as service recipients.

2 - Work areas

The main work area for educast.nrw is to establish a state wide service for processing, managing and distributing videos for use within higher education.

Additionally we will be working in the following areas:

  • Opencast development
  • Development of the Opencast plugins for Ilias and Moodle
